Oswal Pumps bags Rs 162 cr solar pump order from MSEDCL

Oswal Pumps Limited has secured an order worth Rs 162.06 crore (inclusive of GST) from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) under the PM Kusum-B Scheme’s “Magel Tyala Saur Krishi Pump” Yojna.

The project involves the supply and installation of 6,869 Off-Grid Solar Photovoltaic Water Pumping Systems across Maharashtra. The scope includes design, manufacturing, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of solar pumps in 3 HP, 5 HP and 7.5 HP capacities.

The company said the project will support sustainable irrigation practices, reduce farmers’ dependence on conventional power sources and promote renewable energy adoption in the agriculture sector.

Oswal Pumps added that the order further strengthens its partnership with MSEDCL and reinforces its position in the large-scale solar water pumping solutions segment.
