Hyundai Motor India Q4 net profit down 22.81% at Rs 1221.53 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 1,221.53 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2026 as compared to Rs 1582.56 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year decline of 22.81 per cent.

Net revenue of the company rose marginally by 4.81 per cent at Rs 17,973.68 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 17,148.69 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 9.71 per cent to Rs 16,537.07 crore from Rs 15,072.88 crore in year ago period.

Other Income grew by 24.46 per cent at Rs 250.87 crore versus (Mar'25 Rs 201.57 crore).

Operating Profit slipped by 23.07 per cent to Rs 1,914.85 crore as against Rs 2,489.07 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 26.60 per cent in March quarter.

Interest grew by 2.52 per cent y-o-y to Rs 37.40 crore, while Taxation decreased by 38.68 per cent at Rs 336.42 crore (Mar'25 Rs 548.62 crore).
