UPL Q4 net profit down 79.36% at Rs 359.00 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 359.00 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2026 as compared to Rs 1739.00 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year decline of 79.36 per cent.

Net revenue of the company declined substantially by 41.02 per cent at Rs 1,186.00 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 2,011.00 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During January-March quarter, operating expenses dropped by 48.92 per cent to Rs 1,063.00 crore from Rs 2,081.00 crore in year ago period.

Other Income grew by 4070.00 per cent at Rs 417.00 crore versus (Mar'25 Rs 10.00 crore).

Operating Profit surged by 275.71 per cent to Rs 123.00 crore as against Rs -70.00 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 397.99 per cent in March quarter.

Interest declined by 43.14 per cent y-o-y to Rs 29.00 crore, while Taxation increased by 492.59 per cent at Rs 106.00 crore (Mar'25 Rs -27.00 crore).
