Coal India’s wholly-owned subsidiary CIL Solar PV dissolved

Coal India has informed that its wholly-owned subsidiary, CIL Solar PV Limited, has been struck off from the Register of Companies and officially dissolved.

The company stated that the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA), Government of India, through a notice dated May 11, 2026, confirmed the removal of the subsidiary’s name under Section 248(5) of the Companies Act, 2013. The notice was received by Coal India on May 12, 2026.

Following the MCA notification, CIL Solar PV Limited now stands dissolved and ceases to exist as a subsidiary of Coal India.
