Tata Motors Passenge Q4 net profit down 67.08% at Rs 455.00 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 455.00 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2026 as compared to Rs 1382.00 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year decline of 67.08 per cent.

Net revenue of the company declined moderately by 6.91 per cent at Rs 18,496.00 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 19,869.00 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During January-March quarter, operating expenses dropped by 0.05 per cent to Rs 17,539.00 crore from Rs 17,547.00 crore in year ago period.

Other Income grew by 36.23 per cent at Rs 282.00 crore versus (Mar'25 Rs 207.00 crore).

Operating Profit slipped by 56.81 per cent to Rs 1,059.00 crore as against Rs 2,452.00 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 53.57 per cent in March quarter.

Interest declined by 69.44 per cent y-o-y to Rs 77.00 crore, while Taxation decreased by 30.83 per cent at Rs 175.00 crore (Mar'25 Rs 253.00 crore).
