GIC Housing Finance Q4 net profit jumps 52.69% at Rs 53.58 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 53.58 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2026 as compared to Rs 35.09 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 52.69 per cent.

Net revenue of the company rose by 0.88 per cent at Rs 270.68 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 268.33 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 30.70 per cent to Rs 39.04 crore from Rs 29.87 crore in year ago period.

Other Income dipped by 82.13 per cent at Rs 0.74 crore versus (Mar'25 Rs 4.14 crore).

Operating Profit slipped by 3.37 per cent to Rs 233.66 crore as against Rs 241.80 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 4.21 per cent in March quarter.

Interest declined by 3.00 per cent y-o-y to Rs 168.35 crore, while Taxation decreased by 52.48 per cent at Rs 9.69 crore (Mar'25 Rs 20.39 crore).
