Maithan Alloys posts Q4 net loss of Rs 88.00 cr

The company reported standalone net loss during the quarter stood at Rs 88.00 crore as compared to net loss of Rs 66.23 crore in the previous year quarter.

Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 31.51 per cent at Rs 577.07 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 438.81 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 33.98 per cent to Rs 506.82 crore from Rs 378.29 crore in year ago period.

Other Income grew by 44.03 per cent at Rs -162.13 crore versus (Mar'25 Rs -112.57 crore).

Operating Profit surged by 16.08 per cent to Rs 70.25 crore as against Rs 60.52 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 11.75 per cent in March quarter.

Interest grew by 71.52 per cent y-o-y to Rs 13.31 crore, while Taxation decreased by 874.24 per cent at Rs -20.44 crore (Mar'25 Rs 2.64 crore).
