Bharat Petroleum Q4 net profit down 0.70% at Rs 3191.49 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 3,191.49 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2026 as compared to Rs 3214.06 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year decline of 0.70 per cent.

Net revenue of the company rose moderately by 6.72 per cent at Rs 1,18,649.38 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 1,11,178.96 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 5.00 per cent to Rs 1,08,588.61 crore from Rs 1,03,414.07 crore in year ago period.

Other Income grew by 34.14 per cent at Rs 1,063.74 crore versus (Mar'25 Rs 792.99 crore).

Operating Profit surged by 29.57 per cent to Rs 10,060.77 crore as against Rs 7,764.89 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 21.49 per cent in March quarter.

Interest declined by 12.40 per cent y-o-y to Rs 479.05 crore, while Taxation increased by 1.72 per cent at Rs 1,066.47 crore (Mar'25 Rs 1,048.45 crore).
