Engineers India Q4 net profit down 37.50% at Rs 152.02 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 152.02 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2026 as compared to Rs 243.23 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year decline of 37.50 per cent.

Net revenue of the company declined moderately by 9.33 per cent at Rs 898.67 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 991.13 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 9.09 per cent to Rs 760.29 crore from Rs 696.92 crore in year ago period.

Other Income grew by 62.69 per cent at Rs 68.25 crore versus (Mar'25 Rs 41.95 crore).

Operating Profit slipped by 52.97 per cent to Rs 138.38 crore as against Rs 294.21 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 48.11 per cent in March quarter.

Interest declined by 10.71 per cent y-o-y to Rs 0.50 crore, while Taxation decreased by 47.67 per cent at Rs 42.78 crore (Mar'25 Rs 81.75 crore).
