Dhunseri Tea & Ind. posts Q4 net loss of Rs 32.93 cr

The company reported standalone net loss during the quarter stood at Rs 32.93 crore as compared to net loss of Rs 34.35 crore in the previous year quarter.

Net revenue of the company declined substantially by 28.07 per cent at Rs 19.91 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 27.68 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During January-March quarter, operating expenses dropped by 16.34 per cent to Rs 65.77 crore from Rs 78.62 crore in year ago period.

Other Income grew by 129.22 per cent at Rs 5.02 crore versus (Mar'25 Rs 2.19 crore).

Operating Profit slipped by 9.97 per cent to Rs -45.86 crore as against Rs -50.94 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 25.15 per cent in March quarter.

Interest grew by 46.39 per cent y-o-y to Rs 1.42 crore, while Taxation increased by 11.60 per cent at Rs -7.89 crore (Mar'25 Rs -7.07 crore).
