Chemplast Sanmar posts Q4 net loss of Rs 882.94 cr

The company reported standalone net loss during the quarter stood at Rs 882.94 crore as compared to net loss of Rs 25.21 crore in the previous year quarter.

Net revenue of the company declined moderately by 15.63 per cent at Rs 612.24 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 725.62 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During January-March quarter, operating expenses dropped by 24.03 per cent to Rs 529.69 crore from Rs 697.19 crore in year ago period.

Other Income dipped by 49.54 per cent at Rs 3.84 crore versus (Mar'25 Rs 7.61 crore).

Operating Profit surged by 190.36 per cent to Rs 82.55 crore as against Rs 28.43 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 243.88 per cent in March quarter.

Interest grew by 2.68 per cent y-o-y to Rs 26.81 crore, while Taxation increased by 139.34 per cent at Rs 4.39 crore (Mar'25 Rs -11.16 crore).
