ACME Solar Holdings signs 25-Year PPA with Solar Energy Corporation of India for 300 MW Peak Power Project

ACME Solar Holdings, through its subsidiary ACME Renewtech Sixth Private Limited, has signed a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) for a 300 MW / 1,200 MWh ISTS-connected assured peak power project.

The project, awarded under SECI’s FDRE Tranche-VII tender, will be connected to Interstate Transmission System (ISTS) substations and will leverage ACME Solar’s existing night-time connectivity in high irradiation zones. Under the agreement, the company will supply four hours of assured peak power during non-solar hours while maintaining a minimum annual availability requirement of 85%.

The project was awarded following the Letter of Award (LOA) issued on February 10, 2026, under Tariff-Based Competitive Bidding (TBCB) guidelines. The e-reverse auction for the tender was conducted on February 2, 2026.

With the signing of this agreement, ACME Solar’s PPA-signed portfolio has increased to 6,570 MW out of its total contracted portfolio of 8,070 MW.
