Bajaj Steel Ind. Q4 net profit down 94.59% at Rs 1.07 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 1.07 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2026 as compared to Rs 19.77 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year decline of 94.59 per cent.

Net revenue of the company declined substantially by 24.70 per cent at Rs 113.52 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 150.75 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During January-March quarter, operating expenses dropped by 12.78 per cent to Rs 108.56 crore from Rs 124.47 crore in year ago period.

Other Income dipped by 21.28 per cent at Rs 5.03 crore versus (Mar'25 Rs 6.39 crore).

Operating Profit slipped by 81.13 per cent to Rs 4.96 crore as against Rs 26.28 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 74.93 per cent in March quarter.

Interest declined by 20.86 per cent y-o-y to Rs 1.10 crore, while Taxation decreased by 70.55 per cent at Rs 1.67 crore (Mar'25 Rs 5.67 crore).
