Coal India - Updates on Notice of Offer for Sale of Shares by Promoter

With reference to the earlier announcement dated May 26, 2026 regarding Notice of Offer for Sale of Shares by Promoter,
The President of India, acting through and represented by the Ministry of Coal, Government of India, is the promoter of Coal India Ltd has now informed BSE about the following:

\IWe wish to exercise the Oversubscription Option to the extent of 61,627,283 Equity Shares (representing 1.00% of the total paid-up equity share capital of the Company) in addition to 61,627,283 Equity Shares of the Company, (representing 1.00% of the total paid-up equity share capital of the Company) forming part of the Base Offer Size. Accordingly, the total Offer Size will be up to 123,254,566 Equity Shares (representing 2.00% of the total paid up equity share capital of the Company) of which 12,325,458 i.e. 10% of the Offer, would be available for Retail Category on T+1 day, i.e. May 29, 2026, subject to receipt of valid bids, as part of the Offer. Additionally, up to 25,000 Equity Shares of the Company will also be offered to eligible employees of the Company, in accordance with the terms and conditions provided in the OFS Guidelines.

All capitalised terms not defined in this intimation letter shall have the same meanings as ascribed to them in the Notice\.
