Hindustan Media Vent Q4 net profit down 38.70% at Rs 27.69 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 27.69 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2026 as compared to Rs 45.17 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year decline of 38.70 per cent.

Net revenue of the company rose moderately by 7.10 per cent at Rs 215.53 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 201.25 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During January-March quarter, operating expenses dropped by 25.79 per cent to Rs 150.17 crore from Rs 202.36 crore in year ago period.

Other Income dipped by 73.59 per cent at Rs 13.95 crore versus (Mar'25 Rs 52.82 crore).

Operating Profit surged by 5988.29 per cent to Rs 65.36 crore as against Rs -1.11 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 5614.55 per cent in March quarter.

Interest grew by 35.33 per cent y-o-y to Rs 2.26 crore, while Taxation increased by 9980.00 per cent at Rs 10.08 crore (Mar'25 Rs 0.10 crore).
