Jagran Prakashan Q4 net profit down 13.61% at Rs 51.91 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 51.91 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2026 as compared to Rs 60.09 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year decline of 13.61 per cent.

Net revenue of the company rose marginally by 1.59 per cent at Rs 417.17 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 410.63 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 1.21 per cent to Rs 343.47 crore from Rs 339.37 crore in year ago period.

Other Income dipped by 61.56 per cent at Rs 10.19 crore versus (Mar'25 Rs 26.51 crore).

Operating Profit surged by 3.44 per cent to Rs 73.71 crore as against Rs 71.26 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 1.84 per cent in March quarter.

Interest grew by 18.40 per cent y-o-y to Rs 2.51 crore, while Taxation decreased by 33.50 per cent at Rs 14.25 crore (Mar'25 Rs 21.43 crore).
