Davangere Sugar Co. Q4 net profit up 0.52% at Rs 1.95 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 1.95 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2026 as compared to Rs 1.94 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 0.52 per cent.

Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 47.29 per cent at Rs 83.82 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 56.91 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 59.60 per cent to Rs 75.38 crore from Rs 47.23 crore in year ago period.

Other Income grew by 17.54 per cent at Rs 0.67 crore versus (Mar'25 Rs 0.57 crore).

Operating Profit slipped by 12.71 per cent to Rs 8.45 crore as against Rs 9.68 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 40.74 per cent in March quarter.

Interest grew by 4.86 per cent y-o-y to Rs 4.53 crore, while Taxation decreased by 280.00 per cent at Rs -0.54 crore (Mar'25 Rs 0.30 crore).
