Tata Motors posted a healthy performance in its commercial vehicle business during May 2026, with total sales rising 17 per cent year-on-year to 32,850 units.

The company had recorded commercial vehicle sales of 28,147 units in May 2025. Growth was largely driven by strong demand in the domestic market.

Domestic commercial vehicle sales increased 19 per cent to 30,784 units during the month, compared with 25,872 units in the corresponding period last year.

The strong sales momentum reflects improving demand across key commercial vehicle segments and underscores Tata Motors' continued strength in the domestic commercial vehicle market.
