Suzlon Group has announced the appointment of Ashok Ramachandran as President, India Business and Senior Managerial Personnel, with effect from June 4, 2026.

Ashok Ramachandran brings more than two decades of leadership experience across the energy, industrial products and vertical mobility sectors. His professional journey spans key markets including India, Southeast Asia and Australia, providing him with extensive global and regional expertise.

The appointment comes at a significant phase for Suzlon as the company advances its strategy of evolving into a wind-first, full-stack renewable energy solutions provider. In his new role, Ramachandran will lead the company's India business operations and will report directly to Ajay Kapur, Chief Executive Officer of Suzlon Group.

The move is expected to strengthen Suzlon's leadership team as it seeks to capitalize on growing opportunities in India's renewable energy sector.
