Infosys and Handelsblatt launch AI-Powered editorial platform to enhance digital journalism

Infosys and Handelsblatt Media Group have launched Editorial Link Intelligence (ELI), an AI-powered recommendation engine designed to improve digital storytelling and boost reader engagement across Handelsblatt and WirtschaftsWoche platforms.

Developed using Infosys Aster, the company's AI-driven marketing suite, ELI analyzes article content and metadata to automatically suggest relevant internal links, helping editors enrich stories with additional context and improve content discovery for readers.

The solution has been integrated into the editorial workflow of Handelsblatt and WirtschaftsWoche, enabling journalists to enhance articles without disrupting their publishing process. By automating link recommendations, the platform allows editorial teams to spend more time on reporting, research, and analysis.

For readers, ELI aims to create a more intuitive and engaging content experience by connecting related stories and providing deeper insights into complex topics. For publishers, the platform is expected to increase reader engagement, improve navigation, and boost time spent on digital platforms.

The launch marks another milestone in the three-year partnership between Infosys and Handelsblatt Media Group, highlighting the growing role of artificial intelligence in supporting journalism while keeping editorial control firmly in human hands.
