Intellect Design Arena Ltd. has announced the strategic carve-out of its AI platform business, Purple Fabric, into an independent Line of Business (LoB) as part of its efforts to accelerate growth in the enterprise AI market.
The company has appointed Deepak Dastrala as Chief Executive Officer and Business Head of Purple Fabric. In his new role, Dastrala will report directly to Arun Jain, Chairman and Managing Director of Intellect Design Arena, and will also join the company's Management Council as a Senior Management Personnel.
The move follows the successful development of Intellect’s two key technology platforms—eMACH.ai and Purple Fabric—over the past two years. While eMACH.ai serves as the company's foundational architecture, Purple Fabric has emerged as an Enterprise Intelligence Operating System designed to integrate cognitive AI into business decision-making and operational workflows.
According to the company, granting Purple Fabric an independent identity will provide greater operational flexibility, dedicated resources, and strategic focus to capitalize on the growing demand for enterprise-scale AI deployment.
Purple Fabric currently serves more than 45 enterprise clients globally and offers a platform built on an 18-layer architecture with over 550 domain-aware AI agents. The company claims the platform delivers a 95%+ accuracy service-level agreement (SLA), enabling trusted AI-driven execution in complex financial environments.
Commenting on the development, Arun Jain said the carve-out would allow Purple Fabric to scale independently and pursue significant long-term growth opportunities in the business-impact AI segment. Deepak Dastrala stated that the new structure would help the platform focus on delivering measurable business outcomes and accelerate enterprise AI adoption through enhanced governance, control, and operational agility.
