Marsons bags Rs 33.19 cr transformer supply order for NTPC Renewable Energy Project

Marsons Limited has received a domestic order worth Rs 33.19 crore (including GST) from Vikran Engineering Limited for an NTPC renewable energy project.

The order involves the supply of various quantities of 17.6 MVA, 8.8 MVA, and 4.4 MVA oil-cooled (ONAN), OCTC, outdoor-type, aluminium-wound inverter-duty transformers. The equipment is intended for deployment in renewable energy infrastructure projects being executed for NTPC.

The contract is scheduled to be executed within a period of six months.

According to the company, the order has been awarded by a domestic entity and does not involve any related-party transaction. Marsons also clarified that neither its promoters nor promoter group entities have any interest in the customer awarding the contract.

The latest order strengthens Marsons' order book and reinforces its presence in the power transmission and renewable energy equipment segment, which continues to witness growing demand amid India's clean energy expansion plans.
