Avio Smart Market Stack Limited (ASMS) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with StandardWings Technologies Pvt. Ltd. to jointly explore the development of AI-powered digital infrastructure aimed at accelerating the digital transformation of India's agriculture and rural economy.
The partnership combines ASMS' extensive rural network, covering more than 5,000 villages and nearly 4 crore farmers and rural residents, with StandardWings' expertise in artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), Internet of Things (IoT), enterprise software, and digital product development.
As part of the collaboration, the companies will explore technology solutions across sustainable agriculture, rural commerce, financial inclusion, and climate-focused initiatives. Proposed solutions include AI-based crop advisory, yield prediction, pest detection, weather intelligence, precision farming, smart agri-store technology, digital marketplaces, supply chain traceability, carbon monitoring platforms, livestock monitoring, and other farmer-centric digital services.
The two firms also plan to develop agri-tech platforms and pilot programmes to support regenerative farming practices and strengthen climate resilience through technology.
Commenting on the partnership, Dr. Raja Krishna Murthy M, Head – Agri Tech Business at Avio Smart Market Stack, said the collaboration aims to combine ASMS' strong rural presence with StandardWings' technological capabilities to deliver scalable digital solutions that enhance farm productivity, sustainability, market access, and data-driven decision-making for farmers across India.
The companies clarified that the MoU represents an intent to explore collaborative opportunities, with any future commercial projects to be governed through separate definitive agreements.
