RBI keeps Floating Rate Savings Bond interest rate unchanged at 8.05% for July–December 2026

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has retained the interest rate on the Floating Rate Savings Bond, 2020 (Taxable) at 8.05% for the period from July 1 to December 31, 2026.

As per the Government of India's notification, the bond's interest rate is reset every six months at a spread of 35 basis points above the prevailing National Savings Certificate (NSC) rate.

Accordingly, the coupon rate for the current half-year remains unchanged at 8.05% (7.70% + 0.35%) and will be payable on January 1, 2027.
