Tata Motors, Welspun partner for 86 MW Renewable Energy Project

Tata Motors has partnered with Welspun Renewable Energy Pvt. Ltd. to co-develop an 86 MW wind-solar hybrid renewable energy project under a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA). The project will supply clean electricity to Tata Motors' manufacturing plants in Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Karnataka.

The renewable energy project is expected to generate around 200 million units of clean power annually and help reduce over 1.4 lakh tonnes of CO2 emissions each year, supporting the company's sustainability goals.
