RBI announces Rs 75,000 cr overnight VRR auction

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) will conduct an Overnight Variable Rate Repo (VRR) auction under the Liquidity Adjustment Facility (LAF) on July 16, 2026, to manage evolving liquidity conditions in the banking system.

The auction will have a notified amount of Rs 75,000 crore with a one-day tenor. The bidding window will remain open from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM, and the funds will be reversed on July 17, 2026 (Friday).
