Indian Mercantile Co-operative Bank removed from RBI's second schedule

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has excluded Indian Mercantile Co-operative Bank Ltd., Lucknow from the Second Schedule to the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934.

The exclusion was notified through an RBI notification dated June 4, 2026, and was subsequently published in the Gazette of India on June 22, 2026.
