Wipro Q1 net profit down 22.47% at Rs 2865.70 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 2,865.70 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2026 as compared to Rs 3696.10 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year decline of 22.47 per cent.

Net revenue of the company rose moderately by 7.11 per cent at Rs 18,418.20 crore in April-June quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 17,195.40 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During April-June quarter, operating expenses increased by 5.65 per cent to Rs 14,909.10 crore from Rs 14,111.90 crore in year ago period.

Other Income dipped by 57.53 per cent at Rs 867.40 crore versus (Jun'25 Rs 2,042.30 crore).

Operating Profit surged by 13.80 per cent to Rs 3,509.10 crore as against Rs 3,083.50 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 6.25 per cent in June quarter.

Interest grew by 30.07 per cent y-o-y to Rs 320.10 crore, while Taxation increased by 1.19 per cent at Rs 831.30 crore (Jun'25 Rs 821.50 crore).
