Suzlon Group has won a 201.6 MW wind energy project from Waaree Group for its Independent Power Producer (IPP) arm, Waaree Forever Energies Pvt. Ltd. (WFEPL), marking Waaree's maiden wind power project in Andhra Pradesh.

The project will be executed under Suzlon's DevCo (Developer Company) model, under which Suzlon will provide end-to-end project execution, including land acquisition, turbine supply, Balance of Plant (BoP), commissioning, and lifetime operations & maintenance services.

As part of the project, Suzlon will install 64 units of its 3.15 MW S144 wind turbine generators, with a total installed capacity of 201.6 MW.

The order strengthens Suzlon's position in the fast-growing renewable energy sector and highlights increasing adoption of integrated DevCo-led execution models for large-scale clean energy projects.”
