Pralhad Joshi assumes charge as Union Education Minister

Union Minister Pralhad Joshi has officially assumed charge of the Ministry of Education at Kartavya Bhavan. Joshi will continue to hold his existing portfolios of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, and New and Renewable Energy.

After taking charge, the minister chaired a review meeting to assess the implementation of various schemes and initiatives of the ministry. Minister of State for Education Jayant Chaudhary also attended the meeting.

Senior officials, including Higher Education Secretary Dr. Vineet Joshi, School Education and Literacy Secretary T.K. Anil Kumar, and other ministry officials, were present during the review.
