RBI to conduct Rs 1 lakh cr overnight VRRR auction on August 11

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) will conduct a Rs 1 lakh crore overnight Variable Rate Reverse Repo (VRRR) auction under the Liquidity Adjustment Facility (LAF) on Tuesday, August 11, 2026.

The auction will be conducted between 11:00 am and 11:30 am, with a one-day tenor. The funds will be reversed on August 12, 2026.

The RBI said the decision to conduct the second VRRR auction was taken after reviewing current and evolving liquidity conditions in the banking system.
