ACME Solar refinances Rs 2,147 cr debt, redeems offshore dollar bonds

ACME Solar Holdings Ltd has completed the refinancing of Rs 2,147 crore, enabling the redemption of existing NCDs issued by 12 operational SPVs with a combined capacity of 450 MW.

The refinancing, secured from National Bank for Financing Infrastructure and Development (NaBFID), has also resulted in the full redemption of the underlying offshore dollar bonds.

The company said the refinancing has reduced borrowing costs by around 150 basis points across the SPVs, supporting stronger project cash flows and improving the long-term capital structure.

With this transaction, ACME Solar's total financing raised during the current fiscal has reached Rs 8,198 crore.
