Black Box Ltd has secured a US$131 million (approximately Rs 1,240 crore) order from a new US-based global Tier-1 hyperscaler for a major data centre project in the United States.

The order marks a significant entry for Black Box into the customer’s hyperscaler ecosystem and adds a new marquee client to its growing portfolio. The company said the win further strengthens data centres as a key growth driver for its business.

Under the engagement, Black Box will execute the project at a key location in the US over approximately three years, with scope for further expansion. The company secured the contract following a sustained pursuit supported by its domain expertise, leadership engagement and phased delivery capabilities.

Black Box said the order demonstrates the confidence of leading technology companies in its ability to execute complex, mission-critical data centre infrastructure projects at scale. The company expects successful execution to provide a strong foundation for expanding its relationship with the new hyperscaler.
