UPL Q1 net profit down 27.05% at Rs 89.00 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 89.00 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2026 as compared to Rs 122.00 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year decline of 27.05 per cent.

Net revenue of the company declined moderately by 15.84 per cent at Rs 1,397.00 crore in April-June quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 1,660.00 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During April-June quarter, operating expenses dropped by 13.85 per cent to Rs 1,350.00 crore from Rs 1,567.00 crore in year ago period.

Other Income grew by 30.85 per cent at Rs 123.00 crore versus (Jun'25 Rs 94.00 crore).

Operating Profit slipped by 49.46 per cent to Rs 47.00 crore as against Rs 93.00 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 40.00 per cent in June quarter.

Interest grew by 13.64 per cent y-o-y to Rs 25.00 crore, while Taxation increased by 210.00 per cent at Rs 31.00 crore (Jun'25 Rs 10.00 crore).
