Birla Cable Q1 net profit zooms 2190.30% at Rs 30.69 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 30.69 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2026 as compared to Rs 1.34 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 2190.30 per cent.

Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 51.12 per cent at Rs 266.64 crore in April-June quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 176.44 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During April-June quarter, operating expenses increased by 30.88 per cent to Rs 220.68 crore from Rs 168.61 crore in year ago period.

Other Income grew by 10.91 per cent at Rs 0.61 crore versus (Jun'25 Rs 0.55 crore).

Operating Profit surged by 486.85 per cent to Rs 45.95 crore as against Rs 7.83 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 288.06 per cent in June quarter.

Interest declined by 11.64 per cent y-o-y to Rs 2.05 crore, while Taxation increased by 1978.00 per cent at Rs 10.39 crore (Jun'25 Rs 0.50 crore).
