Bharat Gears Q1 net profit down 90.91% at Rs 0.15 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 0.15 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2026 as compared to Rs 1.65 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year decline of 90.91 per cent.

Net revenue of the company rose moderately by 19.94 per cent at Rs 215.65 crore in April-June quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 179.80 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During April-June quarter, operating expenses increased by 22.11 per cent to Rs 207.53 crore from Rs 169.96 crore in year ago period.

Other Income dipped by 76.97 per cent at Rs 0.41 crore versus (Jun'25 Rs 1.78 crore).

Operating Profit slipped by 17.48 per cent to Rs 8.12 crore as against Rs 9.84 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 31.08 per cent in June quarter.

Interest declined by 11.20 per cent y-o-y to Rs 3.25 crore, while Taxation decreased by 91.07 per cent at Rs 0.05 crore (Jun'25 Rs 0.56 crore).
