Marico Q1 net profit down 40.80% at Rs 460.00 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 460.00 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2026 as compared to Rs 777.00 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year decline of 40.80 per cent.

Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 22.49 per cent at Rs 2,794.00 crore in April-June quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 2,281.00 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During April-June quarter, operating expenses increased by 22.87 per cent to Rs 2,251.00 crore from Rs 1,832.00 crore in year ago period.

Other Income dipped by 88.82 per cent at Rs 53.00 crore versus (Jun'25 Rs 474.00 crore).

Operating Profit surged by 20.94 per cent to Rs 543.00 crore as against Rs 449.00 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 1.27 per cent in June quarter.

Interest grew by 100.00 per cent y-o-y to Rs 10.00 crore, while Taxation decreased by 19.82 per cent at Rs 89.00 crore (Jun'25 Rs 111.00 crore).
