BASF India Lt Q1 net profit zooms 146.04% at Rs 362.05 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 362.05 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2026 as compared to Rs 147.15 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 146.04 per cent.

Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 28.88 per cent at Rs 4,833.24 crore in April-June quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 3,750.07 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During April-June quarter, operating expenses increased by 22.74 per cent to Rs 4,332.73 crore from Rs 3,530.02 crore in year ago period.

Other Income grew by 8.56 per cent at Rs 22.84 crore versus (Jun'25 Rs 21.04 crore).

Operating Profit surged by 127.59 per cent to Rs 504.71 crore as against Rs 221.76 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 76.65 per cent in June quarter.

Interest grew by 12.77 per cent y-o-y to Rs 5.21 crore, while Taxation increased by 156.95 per cent at Rs 137.21 crore (Jun'25 Rs 53.40 crore).
