LG Electronics India Limited (LGEIL) has received 10 product awards at the DIGIT India’s Top Appliance Awards 2026, held at a ceremony in New Delhi, recognising the company’s products across multiple home appliance categories.
The awards, an initiative of Times Network and presented by digit.in, are focused on evaluating innovation and product performance through a data-driven assessment process. The event was attended by Dr. Jitendra Singh, Union Minister of State for Science & Technology, Earth Sciences, PMO, Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions (PP/DoPT), Atomic Energy & Space, as the Chief Guest, along with Brajesh Pathak, Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, as the second Chief Guest.
Unlike popularity-based consumer awards, DIGIT India’s Top Appliance Awards use a laboratory-led evaluation process. Products nominated for the awards are tested at DIGIT’s laboratories in Mumbai and Noida and assessed across more than 150 technical parameters, covering areas ranging from thermal imaging diagnostics to the complete customer support cycle.
The technical evaluation is subsequently reviewed by an independent expert jury before the final winners are selected. The awards cover 36+ appliance categories and are supported by DIGIT’s wider editorial platform, which reaches more than 40 million consumers every month across digital, video, print and social media.
The jury included Tarun Pathak, Research Director, Counterpoint Research; Navkendar Singh, AVP, IDC; and Manas Tiwari, Technology Editor, Times Network, along with senior members of DIGIT’s editorial team. The products were evaluated based on laboratory test results, real-world usability and their relevance to innovation and Indian consumers.
