Shree Renuka Sugars posts Q1 net loss of Rs 215.60 cr

The company reported standalone net loss during the quarter stood at Rs 215.60 crore as compared to net loss of Rs 215.10 crore in the previous year quarter.

Net revenue of the company rose marginally by 3.62 per cent at Rs 1,969.70 crore in April-June quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 1,900.80 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During April-June quarter, operating expenses increased by 3.65 per cent to Rs 2,042.10 crore from Rs 1,970.10 crore in year ago period.

Other Income grew by 2.11 per cent at Rs 14.50 crore versus (Jun'25 Rs 14.20 crore).

Operating Profit surged by 8.22 per cent to Rs -72.40 crore as against Rs -66.90 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 4.55 per cent in June quarter.

Interest declined by 7.21 per cent y-o-y to Rs 159.70 crore, while Taxation decreased by 15.83 per cent at Rs -65.40 crore (Jun'25 Rs -77.70 crore).
