HT Media posts Q1 net loss of Rs 7.96 cr

The company reported standalone net loss during the quarter stood at Rs 7.96 crore as compared to net loss of Rs 12.61 crore in the previous year quarter.

Net revenue of the company rose moderately by 6.04 per cent at Rs 235.51 crore in April-June quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 222.10 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During April-June quarter, operating expenses dropped by 0.95 per cent to Rs 234.48 crore from Rs 236.74 crore in year ago period.

Other Income dipped by 1.82 per cent at Rs 12.97 crore versus (Jun'25 Rs 13.21 crore).

Operating Profit surged by 107.04 per cent to Rs 1.03 crore as against Rs -14.64 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 106.68 per cent in June quarter.

Interest declined by 3.10 per cent y-o-y to Rs 12.52 crore, while Taxation decreased by 75.18 per cent at Rs -4.53 crore (Jun'25 Rs -18.25 crore).
