Guar seed futures decline amid ample supplies

Guar seed futures prices declined Rs 9 to Rs 6,298 per quintal on Thursday, pressured by increased supplies from key growing regions.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), guar seed contracts for September delivery fell Rs 9, or 0.14%, to Rs 6,298 per quintal, with an open interest of 47,410 lots.

Market analysts attributed the decline to rising arrivals and ample supplies from producing regions.
