JK Tyre & Industries Q1 net profit down 57.35% at Rs 72.54 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 72.54 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2026 as compared to Rs 170.08 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year decline of 57.35 per cent.

Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 36.38 per cent at Rs 3,923.90 crore in April-June quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 2,877.19 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During April-June quarter, operating expenses increased by 43.58 per cent to Rs 3,640.09 crore from Rs 2,535.26 crore in year ago period.

Other Income dipped by 54.11 per cent at Rs 9.22 crore versus (Jun'25 Rs 20.09 crore).

Operating Profit slipped by 17.00 per cent to Rs 283.81 crore as against Rs 341.93 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 39.14 per cent in June quarter.

Interest grew by 43.44 per cent y-o-y to Rs 91.44 crore, while Taxation decreased by 56.42 per cent at Rs 24.98 crore (Jun'25 Rs 57.32 crore).
