Fortis Healthcare Q1 net profit down 7.90% at Rs 47.78 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 47.78 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2026 as compared to Rs 51.88 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year decline of 7.90 per cent.

Net revenue of the company rose moderately by 13.03 per cent at Rs 489.45 crore in April-June quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 433.03 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During April-June quarter, operating expenses increased by 11.77 per cent to Rs 385.52 crore from Rs 344.92 crore in year ago period.

Other Income dipped by 52.71 per cent at Rs 18.92 crore versus (Jun'25 Rs 40.01 crore).

Operating Profit surged by 17.95 per cent to Rs 103.93 crore as against Rs 88.11 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 4.32 per cent in June quarter.

Interest declined by 9.66 per cent y-o-y to Rs 46.86 crore, while Taxation increased by 3.97 per cent at Rs 11.53 crore (Jun'25 Rs 11.09 crore).
