Power Finance Corpn. Q1 net profit up 5.42% at Rs 4745.40 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 4,745.40 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2026 as compared to Rs 4501.50 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 5.42 per cent.

Net revenue of the company rose marginally by 1.60 per cent at Rs 13,993.13 crore in April-June quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 13,773.42 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During April-June quarter, operating expenses increased by 3831.11 per cent to Rs -429.67 crore from Rs -10.93 crore in year ago period.

Other Income dipped by 47.32 per cent at Rs 1.77 crore versus (Jun'25 Rs 3.36 crore).

Operating Profit surged by 4.63 per cent to Rs 14,422.80 crore as against Rs 13,784.35 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 2.99 per cent in June quarter.

Interest grew by 2.82 per cent y-o-y to Rs 8,502.88 crore, while Taxation increased by 15.42 per cent at Rs 1,167.69 crore (Jun'25 Rs 1,011.66 crore).
