Godawari Power & Isp Q1 net profit down 0.80% at Rs 198.90 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 198.90 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2026 as compared to Rs 200.50 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year decline of 0.80 per cent.

Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 31.11 per cent at Rs 1,486.66 crore in April-June quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 1,133.93 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During April-June quarter, operating expenses increased by 41.86 per cent to Rs 1,185.50 crore from Rs 835.70 crore in year ago period.

Other Income grew by 35.88 per cent at Rs 33.10 crore versus (Jun'25 Rs 24.36 crore).

Operating Profit surged by 0.98 per cent to Rs 301.16 crore as against Rs 298.23 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 22.97 per cent in June quarter.

Interest grew by 35.45 per cent y-o-y to Rs 17.88 crore, while Taxation increased by 3.81 per cent at Rs 72.47 crore (Jun'25 Rs 69.81 crore).
