Bombay Dyeing & Mfg. Q1 net profit down 49.13% at Rs 7.00 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 7.00 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2026 as compared to Rs 13.76 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year decline of 49.13 per cent.

Net revenue of the company rose moderately by 8.72 per cent at Rs 410.80 crore in April-June quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 377.84 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During April-June quarter, operating expenses increased by 4.98 per cent to Rs 411.38 crore from Rs 391.88 crore in year ago period.

Other Income dipped by 36.97 per cent at Rs 23.12 crore versus (Jun'25 Rs 36.68 crore).

Operating Profit slipped by 95.87 per cent to Rs -0.58 crore as against Rs -14.04 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 96.24 per cent in June quarter.

Interest declined by 23.55 per cent y-o-y to Rs 2.76 crore, while Taxation increased by 223.22 per cent at Rs 3.29 crore (Jun'25 Rs -2.67 crore).
