Zee Entertainment Q1 net profit down 57.58% at Rs 47.30 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 47.30 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2026 as compared to Rs 111.50 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year decline of 57.58 per cent.

Net revenue of the company rose by 5.76 per cent at Rs 1,780.90 crore in April-June quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 1,683.90 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During April-June quarter, operating expenses increased by 13.05 per cent to Rs 1,686.20 crore from Rs 1,491.50 crore in year ago period.

Other Income grew by 18.18 per cent at Rs 22.10 crore versus (Jun'25 Rs 18.70 crore).

Operating Profit slipped by 50.78 per cent to Rs 94.70 crore as against Rs 192.40 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 53.46 per cent in June quarter.

Interest grew by 79.17 per cent y-o-y to Rs 12.90 crore, while Taxation decreased by 52.78 per cent at Rs 20.40 crore (Jun'25 Rs 43.20 crore).
