K P Energy Q1 net profit up 2.04% at Rs 25.95 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 25.95 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2026 as compared to Rs 25.43 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 2.04 per cent.

Net revenue of the company rose triple digit by 136.61 per cent at Rs 516.56 crore in April-June quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 218.32 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During April-June quarter, operating expenses increased by 168.62 per cent to Rs 456.34 crore from Rs 169.88 crore in year ago period.

Other Income grew by 39.81 per cent at Rs 1.51 crore versus (Jun'25 Rs 1.08 crore).

Operating Profit surged by 24.32 per cent to Rs 60.22 crore as against Rs 48.44 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 47.45 per cent in June quarter.

Interest grew by 64.45 per cent y-o-y to Rs 15.59 crore, while Taxation increased by 20.97 per cent at Rs 11.02 crore (Jun'25 Rs 9.11 crore).
