MTNL posts Q1 net loss of Rs 841.07 cr

The company reported standalone net loss during the quarter stood at Rs 841.07 crore as compared to net loss of Rs 941.03 crore in the previous year quarter.

Net revenue of the company rose two fold by 287.30 per cent at Rs 200.08 crore in April-June quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 51.66 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During April-June quarter, operating expenses dropped by 1.20 per cent to Rs 233.28 crore from Rs 236.12 crore in year ago period.

Other Income dipped by 46.81 per cent at Rs 74.53 crore versus (Jun'25 Rs 140.12 crore).

Operating Profit slipped by 82.00 per cent to Rs -33.20 crore as against Rs -184.46 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 95.35 per cent in June quarter.

Interest declined by 0.90 per cent y-o-y to Rs 747.51 crore
